Dancing at three pubs in Lewes in support of World Down Syndrome Day. Meet at 1.30 at the Lewes Arms

APRIL

Good Friday 3rd 11am – PIDDINGHOE LONG ROPE SKIPPING. Long rope skipping is an old Sussex tradition, which still continues in Piddinghoe. We’ve been invited to join them this year for their morning event.

Saturday 4th afternoon - NEWHAVEN TOWN COUNCIL SPRING EVENT AT THE SIDINGS

This is very family friendly, with lots of stalls and activities for children and adults.

MAY

Saturday 9th – DANCING AT THE TIGER INN, EAST DEAN WITH RHEDA’S DREAM

Dancing as guests of Rheda’s Dream, a like-minded mixed Morris team from St Leonard’s.

Saturday 30th 10-4, BRIGHTON DAY OF DANCE

A full day of dancing in Brighton with teams from all over Sussex, hosted by Brighton Morris.

JUNE

Saturday 13th 11-5 – SUSSEX DAY OF DANCE

Another full day of dancing with teams from all over Sussex.

Dancing around town with Brighton Morris, Molly Winkler’s Morris (a new team from Hastings fusing Cotswold & Molly) & Ruxley’s Crew (Border Morris from Hastings).

JULY

Tuesday 14th evening - DANCING AT THE TREVOR ARMS, GLYNDE

A repeat of last year’s brilliant night out with Knots of May and Cuckoo’s Nest.

Thursday 23rd evening - DANCING AROUND NEWHAVEN WITH DITCHLING MORRIS

Dancing around town with Ditchling Morris, a mixed Cotswold team. Again, it’s our event.

AUGUST

Thursday 6th evening - DANCING AROUND NEWHAVEN WITH BLACKPOWDER

Dancing around town with Lewes-based border Morris team Blackpowder. Our last hosting event of the year!

Monday 24th evening - DANCING IN PEVENSEY AS GUESTS OF ANDERIDA

Dancing as guests of Pevensey-based Anderida border Morris, in their hometown.

SEPTEMBER

Sat – Sun 19-20th – HOMINGTON INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, (NEAR SALISBURY)

Our first ever OVM weekend trip! We’ll be dancing at a mixed arts festival based in Homington, organised by the creative brains behind the North Sea Radio Orchestra & members of Sarum Morris.
